Language Barriers

Hey , hello there.
I am glad you are here reading this instead of scrolling down 9GAG. At least someone still visits blogs and reads blog posts , I guess.

Moving on , today was the day of our CIP at the SWAMI Home and I enjoyed it there !~ Met a lot of the elderly , managed to talk to some of them but of course , I'm having problems to spark a conversation with them. Not that I am shy and what not~ It is just because majority of them has Hokkien as their dominant language ( I think ? ) , and obviously I am a Filipino who only knows two languages : English and Tagalog. I guess there's a bit of language barriers but hand gestures probably helped out alot in communication.

Met quite a lot of different people in SWAMI Home. One of the elderly we ( Haziq and I ) talked to told us quite an interesting story. Apparently , he was a gangster from the early years. One of them was a war veteran , or so I heard.  They have quite varied backgrounds compared to like , the younger generation nowadays so it was new experience hearing their story. Heck , if I wasn't so shy , I would've told my story.

Well , that will be it for now~ I'll be off for a marathon of League Of Legends.

PS : Finally found my iPhone charger !
